Marvin Lumber and Cedar Company, LLC, Warroad, MN, a manufacturer of wood windows and doors is offering full-time temporary employment October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025The twenty-four (24) Production Worker positions being filled are for our manufacturing plant located in Warroad, MN.  Job duties include: 

 

  • Pull and prime parts for warehouse. 
  • Assemble window sashes and window frames; apply aluminum clad to wood parts, glaze and install window sash. 
  • May require use of woodworking, power or hand tools. 
  • Place completed unit on tow line cart and deliver to loading dock. 
  • Clean work area at end of shift.

There are no minimum education, training or experience requirements for these positions.  Applicant must have the ability to perform job duties and the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug test, and physical assessment. 

 

LOCATION: 802 State Ave NE, Warroad, MN 56763 

 

RATE OF PAY: $21.50 per hour and overtime pay of $32.25 per hour after 40 hours worked per work weekReturning employees may receive $.25/hour more for each year they return capped at $1/hr. There are no other benefits.   

No on-the-job training to be provided. Employer will not provide board, lodging or other facility benefits. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due and Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. Employer will make all deductions from Workers’ paycheck as required by law. For Workers outside of the area of employment, if the Worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, Employer will reimburse the Worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. If the Worker completes the employment period or is dismissed earlier, the Employer will pay for Worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the Worker originally departed to work, except where the Worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where Employer has appropriately reported a Worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 day during travel to a maximum of $68 day with receipts. If applicable, Employer will reimburse Workers in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing and related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide Workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the jobEmployer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week work period of total employment period. Offer to US workers is the same as H-2B workers. Applicants must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
